Hi, I’m Ruby — a 20-year-old freelance photographer and second-year Media Production student at Liverpool John Moores University, based between Manchester and Liverpool. On my course, I explore film, photography, audio production, videography and digital media, developing the technical skills and creative vision that I bring to every live music project. I specialise in live events, concerts, and behind-the-scenes photography, working with artists, bands, management, and media teams to create authentic, high-energy imagery.
Since April 2024, I’ve photographed over 150 artists, with my work featured in publications including 'Clash' and 'Loud Women'. My experience spans everything from intimate basement gigs of 20 people to arena shows of 23,000, giving me a deep understanding of how to capture the energy and emotion of live performance in any setting. Each shoot has allowed me to build strong, lasting relationships within the industry, leading to new collaborations and creative opportunities.
Through both my studies and my professional work, I combine a love of music, storytelling, and multimedia production to create imagery that goes beyond documentation. Whether it’s a quiet behind-the-scenes moment or the peak of a headline performance, I aim to craft visuals that feel authentic, dynamic, and unforgettable.
